This hasn't happened since 1994-95 and we lost one of those 2 games in 2OT.

I still remember that bleeping NMSU game from 94-95. It was ESPN's late night game and we should have won the dumb thing. I believe we scored to go up 3 very late in the first OT but then had collective stupidity and stayed at the offensive end to celebrate. They threw a quick pass to halfcourt and dribbled up to hit a tying three at the buzzer.

We have a real team, and I believe we cleaning up the mistakes would make us even better. Bean and Queta are very exciting players. I believe Bean should play more. Every player not injured had points in this game!!! 6 players with 9 or more points in this game. Queta had 9 rebounds despite limited minutes. Crew Ainge looks like a starter.

Being in the student section was better than any game last year (other than BYU). It was fun to hear everybody around feed off the energy and hustle of this team. Coach Smith is going to bring the spectrum back!!

I watched it on tv. They are moving the ball well and just are not hoisting 3s. The passing looks good.

Trying to manage my expectations but I’m all in on Coach Smith. He was my first choice during the search and I think he is going to be the real deal. Very cool of him to run to the student section and give high fives, sign autographs and do selfies. The Hurd is going to love him.

I like Ainge, but he won't be our starter by the first of December. T. Knight will be the starter at PG; we've started slow both games and in part that's because of PG. I'd start T. Knight, Sam, Brito, Brown and Queta.

We replaced a ho hum coach with the Energizer bunny and also lucked out with our me first star player doing the selfless thing by taking one for the team and leaving town. This could be a good year for a change.

Forget back-to-back, USU hasn’t had a coach with two 100 point games against Division 1 competition since Larry Eustschy. In fact before this week, there had been only one such game during the past 20 seasons.

I stated similarly in chat last night. I would end a close game with the same players you list except I had Taylor instead of Queta. Taylor seems safer for now, but perhaps not for long.

I don't think Smith cares about starting his 5 best players. I think minutes played is the measuring stick right now.

It is more important which players are on the court during the end of a close game than who the starters are.
