Stepped up, shot with confidence and ended the game. Great job, Quinn!!!

The confidence with which these guys are playing is just awesome. Smith has them believing in themselves. Really fun to watch.

That was an “oh crap” moment while the ball was in the air, and then an “awesome” moment when it went through the hoop!

Love the fact that it seems like every game somebody else, or many different guys are stepping up!

It reminds me of a playoff game hot rod hundley was calling for the jazz when Andre Kirilenko shot a three, not nearly as important perhaps but equally as nailbiting. He nailed the three just like quinn did and it was a happy time (jazz won that one too).

I knew he nailed it as soon as it left his hand. Great play all around. Quinn for the Winn

I noticed a lot of negative comments about Taylor during the game. He is Mr. Intangible in my book. I know Coach Smith didn't take him out in the second half, and he had big rebounds, played great D, and of course some clutch scoring. I think he is invaluable to this team.

Not to steal Quinn’s thunder, but didn’t Sam make two FTs after the 3pointer? Those were just as, if not more, important. And we are dang lucky it was Sam shooting those and not Abel. Who by the way had the ball for a lengthy stretch, and I was screaming to get the ball out of his hands cause he is a poor FT shooter.

We needed every point last Tuesday.

I would say being up by four our guys basically gave Taylor the inbounds roll to nearly half court and the final 3 point shot and points. Had the lead been 3 or 2 the defensive strategy certainly would have been different. Quinn’s shot was the dagger Sam’s free throws were the nail in the coffin.

We were up by 2 when Taylor made the shot.

Right. Taylor's shot made it a two possession game. Without that shot, they don't foul Sam.

Remember our first, second, third, fourth, fifth.....made shots of the game, as they were just as important in winning the game. I don't remember them, but man they were cool. At least by my bringing them up, credit has been given, so no one has been left out.

It's amazing how basketball works like that. People talk about the last shot when earlier ones are just as important.

I now realize I need to clarify my comment. When I said Taylor above I was referring to Deshon Taylor, the Fresno player that made the meaningless 3 at the end. I was also trying to say that had some other Aggie other than Merrill shot the last two free throws and missed then with 2 seconds left our defensive strategy would have been different and we wouldn’t have given Deshon Taylor such an easy buzzer shot.
