Anyone going to the Air Force game on the 16th? It’s on my birthday and I’m trying to decide if I want to make the trip down to the Springs from Greeley

Yeah, I'm ready to commit to going as long as the weather isn't crazy. I have no excuses... I live probably 30 minutes away. I'm down to meet up if you're interested.

I can guarantee that my wife and kids will not be interested in going.

Sounds like you just came up with an excuse. Pretty sure you can make it 20-30 miles in any kind of weather. Definitely worth life and limb to support your Aggies.

I'll be there with my crew.
It's kid's day; $5 general admission for adults and $2 tickets for kids. I'll be there with my crew.

My wife and I will probably make the drive down from Denver. Where is everyone sitting?

Fair enough. I woke up to -6 degree temperatures this morning. In my light, hyper-economic car, I was slipping all over the road. Suffice it to say, if we get a foot of snow immediately before tip-off (statistically unlikely), I'll save the Aggie-fest for another day.

I should be there. :utah: :state:

I haven't purchased tickets yet, but once we get some consensus - I'll talk to some of my fellow Aggies in Castle Rock and see if we can't get a crew to go down to AF together.

Except for if we get a storm as bad as we had two winters ago in Logan. That kept people from going to the game that lived 3 miles away. Even 3 blocks away.

I was going to go, but then realized it was my daughter's birthday. She does not want to drive down from Fort Collins, so I will have to wait to go to the CSU game.

My drive to CSU this year was insane. Closed the freeway so we had to go off road. Missed most of the game but the end was awesome.

Very lucky we didn’t get stuck - no cell service most of the way in the bad spots.

Keep in mind that the roads out here don’t get plowed as well as in Logan, if they get plowed at all, so it takes a lot less snow to screw travel plans up. We’ll have to wait and see.

If I do end up going, my wife will be going with me, mostly because it’ll be my birthday. I don’t think she’ll want to come to the CSU game with me

Dang! Sneed, the Aggie hero!

We went to that one as well. We went super early and froze our asses off. We had to chisel ice off of our seats with credit cards in order to find even a cold spot to sit down. It was a very memorable game for many reasons!

Alright I’m bringing at least one additional Aggie. We may bring another guy (honorary Aggie) too. $5 seats are available, but they are nosebleeds... I’m thinking that I’ll call the ticket office tomorrow and see if there are any tickets available behind the Aggie bench. The website says $20/ticket for those. Seems like a steal, if available. I’ll let y’all know where we decide to sit.

I’m going to disagree with this. I would argue the roads are better plowed the Logan and over all it is warmer so the roads are in better shape. Wyoming is a completely different story. Maybe Greeley is too.

Greeley is absolutely a different story. It’s a city of about 100,000 yet they only plow a couple main roads. Most streets are still covered with the snow that fell several days ago lol

A few weeks ago I drove to Colorado Springs in a snowstorm and even the 76 and the 25 weren’t plowed

Alright, I bought 3 tickets at center court, 8 rows up. Excellent tickets! I only paid $20/ticket with no handling fee... tickets sent to my e-mail address... AFA Ticket Office: 719-472-189five. They're super quick and helpful! I hope to see all of our Colorado Aggies out there!

We're going to be in Section L4, Row H.... 3 funny-looking bearded guys in Aggie gear. Come say hi. We're possibly interested in grabbing some grub or something before the game if y'all wanna meet up.

I need to check with wife but we usually go. Great thing is that the place is empty and not a bad seat in the house. Buy the cheapest tickets and move to where you want to sit.

When I lived in Parker, Colorado I always loved going to the USU basketball and football games. Easy to get to, good free parking, cheap tickets, and always good seats.
