Nevada fans
Obviously we don’t know full story yet. But disappointed in your teams post game actions tonight. Usually I cheer for conference teams in the NCAAs but I will not cheer for your team. And it starts at the top. Musselman can win but act like a man after a loss. His teams post game activities are a reflection of the head coach.

Re: Nevada fans
Exactly. He whines all game long and in turn so do his players and are sore losers

Re: Nevada fans
Oh come on. The Nevada fans visiting our board have all been fantastic. I agree, some Nevada coaches/players acted poorly in the video. However, I’d be shocked if a few stupid 20 yo students didn’t egg it on. Be real. Blame on both sides. The only real victims were the fire extinguisher case and Caroline’s metacarpals...

I have nothing against the Nevada fans. But I will not cheer for Musselman. You can’t tell me he is a good example by his actions.flying_scotsman2.0 wrote: ↑March 2nd, 2019, 10:05 pmOh come on. Re: Nevada fans
This 100%. I have no problem with their fans, I think they've been fair and good to talk with. I am not a fan of the coach at all. Emotions are high and I wish the coaches were a better example. I don't want to see this team again, I think it will devolve into a fist fight.slcagg wrote: ↑March 2nd, 2019, 10:06 pmI have nothing against the Nevada fans. But I will not cheer for Musselman. Re: Nevada fans
Nevada fans did nothing wrong. Obviously something happened. Why don’t we keep our mouth shut until we figure it out. Blue you sound like an idiot.

Re: Nevada fans
Agreed. Although I don’t see our guys being that stupid. I think it would result in several cheap shots from Nevada.Aggie19 wrote: ↑March 2nd, 2019, 10:09 pmThis 100%. Re: Nevada fans
100% agree. Musselman is unbearable, I’m not sure how anyone can cheer for him. Additionally, Nevada’s offensive philosophy is really hard to appreciate. That being said, it’s good for the conference, and consequently USU, if Nevada wins some games in the tournament. So I’m going to cheer for them.slcagg wrote: ↑March 2nd, 2019, 10:06 pmI have nothing against the Nevada fans. But I will not cheer for Musselman. Re: Nevada fans
This doesn’t capture everything but there was plenty of distance of fans and players. They may have not been able to get to their tunnel but it was intense and physical game and they seem to be coming unglued a bit

Star player for Nevada punching glass and wanting to fight and being restraint from fighting looks really bad. Blue might be right.

Re: Nevada fans
Why would Caroline not react until the he got in the tunnel if something on the court. Cmon their is no excuse for how he acted and their is no excuse for how Musselman can’t take a loss.

Re: Nevada fans
They are saying fans touched the players and an assistant coach said F*** you in the line after the game.
I watched as the students rushed the court, they were shoulder to shoulder with the fans but there was no real contact. I can’t say anything about the assistant coach.
Many fans including myself gave high fives to Nevada players as they went up the tunnel. I didn’t hear anything said that was rude but the opposite, fans were saying good game. Some players gave high fives back but Porter told fans “get the F*** out of my face.” I personally gave Caroline a high five and he wasn’t pissed off at that point. Something must have happened up the tunnel.
Now IF any fans touched the players that’s not right. IF the assistant coach said something, he should be reprimanded. I don’t believe anything happened though. I’ll wait to see what comes out though.

Re: Nevada fans
If our assistant was talking trash at the end then I agree that is not a good look and their should be consequences. However it does not justify Caroline acting like this and the rest of the team and Musselman acting the way they did after their loss. Again Musselman post game comments were reeked of a man who likes to point a finger at anyone but himself.

Re: Nevada fans
So many different stories. Seemed like plenty of room between fans and players. You can’t tell me this group (Nevada) doesn’t talk trash. Classic case of dishing it out and not taking it, also deflecting

I’m talking about Musselman, and the thugs he brings in. They are not tied to the community of Reno, they are grad transfers from anywhere he can buy a player. Like our local guys from Portugal, and the recruit we’re fawning over from Australia? Are those down by Duchesne?USUBlue wrote:I’m talking about Musselman, and the thugs he brings in. Re: Nevada fans
So does anyone still want to cheer for Musselman and his team because of conference affiliation? A lot has happened since Saturday night.

Same as me, mods.
Sheesh.
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
