Aggie football or basketball?
I will say for the state of college athletics in the state of Utah this has been the year of the Aggie. This could've either been on football thread or this thread but I chose this thread.

B-ball hands down. Massive surprise. The best coaching job I have ever witnessed.

Have to agree with you. It's tough because football had a great year.

Football was amazing but we had so many games where the outcome wasn’t in doubt. The basketball team has surprised me on a weekly basis.
I think I’ll side with basketball because of how it’s ending compared to football’s toe stubbing at the end with CSU and bsu.

They both are awesome. I loved being at lavell Edwards stadium knowing we were the better team and then destroying them.
However last night was amazing. It brought back so many great memories of my time at USU. Coach Smith getting on the mic and thanking everyone for coming and be in it was great and inspiring.

Basketball is definitely the biggest surprise. I predicted we'd win 10 or more games in football.

Honestly, I wasn't sure we'd make it to 10 wins in basketball. In fact admittedly, I think there was a pre-season thread that would show me saying that beyond beating San Jose and Air Force, I didn't see any other conference wins for us. DAMN, I'm glad I was 100% wrong!!!

I had us going 11-7 and about 4th place, but that was long before J. Knight left -- then I would have had us at about 9-9. So sweet to be wrong.aggies22 wrote: ↑March 3rd, 2019, 11:27 amHonestly, I wasn't sure we'd make it to 10 wins in basketball. Basketball's an Olympic sport.
Aggie football, baybee!

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

More excited? Football. The answer is always football.
More surprised? Basketball.
More surprised? Basketball.

Football will always be my #1 sport but this basketball season has been amazing! Go Aggies! Keep surprising us!

Football is king in America. I went to the Michigan State, BYU, CSU and Boise Games (along with all the home game). What a magical year. However; the Spectrum is my favorite place in the world. Too close to call for me.

I would rather go to a football game than a basketball game, except for games like yesterday, when the spectrum is going crazy! I've never seen anything like the Spectrum.
