I can’t stand when a team is pressing that they are allowed to swat and hit and bump all they want without getting called. Drives me nuts. I think we’ll see the refs start calling even less in the second half so we better get ready for it.
Usually when we break a press we have 2 guys even with each other and a guy in the middle. We are not doing that tonight. We are doing an inverted formation with 1 back and 2 in front on the sides. Porter keeps picking up his dribble and not being able to find the guys on the side. We need to change what we are doing or the 2nd half will be worse.

The key is speed. Aggies need to speed across half court line. We started doing our usual press break and things got better. Not great but better. Hard fought game but we finally pulled together. Brito and Bean step up big in the 2nd half. Win ugly but win. I’m definitely rooting for Air Force. That’s who I was hoping we played tonight instead of New Mexico. I think we matchup really well against AF. Fresno will likely win and we will have a 3rd battle with them. Going to be another tough one i think.
