What if?

Post by Aggie in Boise » March 15th, 2019, 10:31 am

What is the best possible seed that we could get IF:

- Weber State wins the Big Sky Tournament
- Utah Valley University wins the WAC Tournament
- UC Irvine wins the Big West Tournament
- Nevada beats San Diego State
- We beat Nevada in the MWC championship game

Perhaps this has already been discussed in another thread and I missed it. If so, please disregard.

I think Weber, UVU and Irvine are pretty much locked into their quadrants. Beating Nevada would give us another Q1 win. Max seed would be 7 and I think that depends on what happens in other situations.

You can also add SUU to the list. They crushed the number 2 seed in the big sky. Go Aggies and all the other Utah schools except BYU and Utah! Maybe the Utes and Tigers can play each other in nit or CBI for 5th and 6th place in the State of Utah.. Go Aggies! :utah: :state: :scotsman:

We didn't play SUU this year.

In my opinion if the stars aligned and everything came together we could climb as high as 7. I still expect to see us likely as a 10 seed though.

Would rather have a 10 than 8/9. 7 would be the ultimate, however

Agreed. 10 is better than 8 or 9 seed.

No need to waste our time on "IFs" if we don't win tonight's game.

Irvine could end up as a Q1 or Q2, they currently sit at 73. Could possibly drop below 75 if they don’t win the Big West.
