We’ll find out Sunday unless we win the next two.

I don’t think so. Lose tonight and I still don’t see us slipping past a 10 seed

They just said in Inside College Basketball that the Mountain West will get three bids if we lose. And the announcers mentioned pregame that the bubble teams should have their Sam Merrill jerseys on cause they need us to win.

Why would Nevada losing cost us a bid?

I'm actually really smart, probably smarter than you are so if you disagree with what I have stated in this post, you are likely wrong (and dumb).

If Usu spanks Fresneck tonight, maybe it’s Nevada that should be worried?

We are in regardless. Weird theory that some people have that they would only take 2 teams from the mw. Besides the fact that it isnt how it works, the mw has gotten 4-5 teams in before.

ignore the "bubble watch" and it should be taken with a grain of salt. Utah St has to win, if not it's a coin flip on selection sunday

SDSU was "should be in" with a top 30 RPI in 2016 and they didn't get in the dance
Colorado St was "should be in" with 27 rpi in 2014 and they didn't get in the dance
#22 2018 St Mary's was nationally ranked before selection sunday didn't get in the dance

Three MWC teams in the big dance is a long shot.

You know who absolutely *needs* to win today to have ANY chance of going to the NCAA tournament? SDSU.

To answer the OP question... yes. The Aggies will need to win out to bring home a national championship. I’m up in the air on the format of the NCAA tourney but that’s just how it works.
