What I admire about Coach Smith...
The guy is unflappable. Dutcher and Musselman yell and scream...especially at their players. I don't think I've seen Smith direct any of his frustration at the team.

I would have lost it when no foul was called when Shackel ran into Brito causing the over and back

Dream scenario would be Smith deciding to be the next Mark Few in Logan.

Why can’t we be a better program than Gonzaga? If smith stays the sky is the limit, the mwc has much more potential than the wcc

Well said. I think the small time thinking among Aggie fans needs to end.

It’s possible. However have you ever been to Spokane? Major support up there for their bulldogs. Of course any school that wins as much as they do would get that kind of support.

I have felt strongly about this for a while now, usu can be big time in hoops and football, it’s just up to the fans, we need more to commit their money and it doesn’t have to be a lot individually!

Many many times, Gonzaga used to play in a high school type gym until a few years ago, I’m not sure how many know this but hartwell has a huge huge vision for basketball, huge!
The first piece is the right coach (check!)

Coach Smith just thanked Heartwell for hiring him. Said it was the best move he could have ever done. Amen to that. I hope we lock him up for a long time!

Hartwell and Smith seem to have a really good relationship. I know college athletics is a game of mercenaries now, but I really hope those two feel like they have a great gig that they can ride for a long time.Olderthandirt wrote: ↑March 16th, 2019, 7:33 pmCoach Smith just thanked Heartwell for hiring him. LETS PUT UP $3.5 M/YEAR AND HE’LL NEVER LEAVE. My only regret being in grad school is that I have literally negative dollars to donate. In a few years tho...

I just posted it on another topic but I think is the Wayne Estes fund to help basketball salaries?
