Dang... getting some real respect all of a sudden and will most likely have 90 percent of the team back next year. Good time to be an Aggie!!

I hate when they predict us as a sleeper.

I don't hate I love it! I don't expect us to win more than one game but this team is capable of what this article says. I think we will will handle Washington but one win could light a huge for under this team.

BleacherReport has us as a sleeper team
One big difference between now and when we played ASU, BYU and Houston is confidence and confidence is going to make us dangerous against other teams. I know for a fact when we played said teams we had not realized just how good we could actually be, none of us had. The way I see it, the turning point was Nevada (maybe even SDSU). After we beat them it was as if a light clicked on in their heads and they came to the realization that they belonged.

Another big difference from those early losses to now is that we have a different starting point guard.Usu0505 wrote: ↑March 17th, 2019, 11:34 pmOne big difference between now and when we played ASU, BYU and Houston is confidence and confidence is going to make us dangerous against other teams. And we have a kid at center that had experience playing with foul trouble and is acclimating better to American officiating.

The article has many nice things to say about our team. I am a little concerned about Sam's ability to score at a high clip with the kid from Washington. He is a defensive beast. I am very intrigued by that matchup.

Re: BleacherReport has us as a sleeper team
I'd be worried if they played man, but with them playing zone... just put Miller in the zone of the big-time defender and Sam can score everywhere else. What good is the best on-ball defender in the world if he plays zone?

Re: BleacherReport has us as a sleeper team
How have we played against the zone this year? Have we faced any heavy-zone teams?
