Post by SLB » Today, 5:56 pm

We have currently 6 Juniors on the team. With all the JC transfers added to the team, basically half the team are Juniors.

Alphonso Anderson only played in 10 games during his first season of JuCo ball. The coaching staff is confident that they can apply for a receive a medical redshirt. That would make Alphonso a sophomore.

I have a hard time believing that Anderson can be made into a RS SO.

Marco has to sit, think of Porter as a senior, and Alphonso might be a sophomore.

I other news, we have 2 freshmen.

Yes. Alphonso redshirted at Montana his freshman year. He then transferred to Moberly Area CC and he only played in 10 games due to injury. Last season he played his sophomore season at North Idaho. It's the season he spent at Moberly that they are hoping to get back with an injury designation. From what I understand, there is "confidence" that this can happen.

We also currently have just one scholarship available for the 2020 signing class.
