Re: Official visitor - Dallin Hall
Dallin is a great kid that I’ve been hopping is on the Aggies radar for a few years. I know one of us comp team coaches from s few years ago and this kid wolf make a great Aggie. He’s not a legacy kid like Sam, but he checks a lot of the same boxes. I’d love to see us land him.

I don't know and how could anyone not want to play for Coach Smith? I wonder if recruits are concerned that Smith may leave and things might change.

If this kid is going on a mission then I put the chances that he would play for Craig Smith at about 0.Aggie in Boise wrote: ↑October 16th, 2019, 11:12 amI don't know and how could anyone not want to play for Coach Smith? Re: Official visitor - Dallin Hall
I agree. I hope we're wrong though. Even if he doesn't go on a mission the chances that he plays for Craig at USU are slim. IMO, this could create a bit of a recruiting problem.Roy McAvoy wrote: ↑October 16th, 2019, 11:16 amIf this kid is going on a mission then I put the chances that he would play for Craig Smith at about 0.Aggie in Boise wrote: ↑October 16th, 2019, 11:12 amI don't know and how could anyone not want to play for Coach Smith? I'm assuming this is in reference to BYU's history of recruiting active missionaries while in the MTC and in the field?Roy McAvoy wrote: ↑October 16th, 2019, 11:16 amIf this kid is going on a mission then I put the chances that he would play for Craig Smith at about 0.Aggie in Boise wrote: ↑October 16th, 2019, 11:12 amI don't know and how could anyone not want to play for Coach Smith? Otherwise I'm confused. aggies22 says the staff loves sign-and-send kids and you say there's 0 chance he plays as a sign-and-send.

I read it as saying that Craig Smith won't be here long enough to be coach when this guy gets back from a mission.treesap32 wrote: ↑October 16th, 2019, 11:35 amI'm assuming this is in reference to BYU's history of recruiting active missionaries while in the MTC and in the field?Roy McAvoy wrote: ↑October 16th, 2019, 11:16 amIf this kid is going on a mission then I put the chances that he would play for Craig Smith at about 0.Aggie in Boise wrote: ↑October 16th, 2019, 11:12 amI don't know and how could anyone not want to play for Coach Smith? He just seemed to have a twinkle in his eye when referencing BYU. Also the fact that he played at Lone Peak for a year.aggiesdotcom wrote:Are you basing this off of anything more than the frosted tips in his hair?FeartheFro wrote: ↑October 16th, 2019, 8:00 amSat next to him at the Nevada game last year. Having a “BYU” look is one of those ineffable things, but you just know it when you see it.

Re: Official visitor - Dallin Hall
Yeah, how does he have a "BYU look"? Cause he's a white dude from Utah? If so, then some of USU's best player's have had that BYU look. I love making fun of BYU, but this makes no sense.

Odd to trash on a kid that's considering signing here. Looks like a great player that's getting better and better. Hopefully he signs.

Re: Official visitor - Dallin Hall
He looks about like 2/3 of our current roster. Which is not a bad thing by the way because we have some really good players. I don't quite understand why people say he looks like a BYU kid that just doesn't make much sense to me. I quite frankly don't care what they look like so long as they can play good and are good people.

Do Your dipnards really think it is a great idea to bash every one of our recruits?
I promise you they, and people around them read this board. It’s just not a smart thing to do.

Nobody is bashing the kid, and nobody actually cares what he looks like. Skill wise, he looks really good. Let’s hope he commits and breaks some BYU hearts.
I just got an immediate BYU vibe with this dude. Hope I am wrong!

I've heard Teen Wolf rebounds really well for his size and can get to the rim with relative ease.frankiesaysrelax wrote: ↑October 16th, 2019, 11:11 pmNo doubt. I’d be honored to have this guy suit up for the Aggies.
