So what will happen to them for playing an ineligible player?

I'm guessing they lose a scholarship or 2 for a few years. If it was a program like ours we'd get something more severe but it's Memphis.

Do you think they'll have to vacate the wins? Will they be allowed to play post-season?

From what I understood a judge ordered an injunction in the ineligible status which allowed them to play the guy, at least for the first game or so. I saw yesterday Memphis did declare him ineligible but was seeking to overturn the ruling. I doubt anything happens to Memphis with that judges order in place.

We'd get the death penalty.

Wiseman (wisely) dropped the case. There’s a reason no one else does that, and that’s the discovery process and subpoena power. You really want to potentially give the NCAA access to ALL the skeletons in the closet?

I doubt the NCAA will allow Memphis to hide behind the TRO to avoid punishment.
