Re: Queta?
He traveled with the team to Jamaica. I've heard everything from he'll play this Friday to he'll play in December to he'll never play again (the last one just from people on this forum). At this point I'm just hopeful that he's ready for conference play and anything before that would be a bonus.

Re: Queta?
I have a hard believing that he is all of sudden ready to play once we play against decent competition. Conference play is what is important. I’d assume he isn’t playing until then.

I have it from two sources, one a cheerleader who said he told her, another from a member of the medical staff. I actually believe the Cheerleader!

Re: Queta?
I wonder what kind of impact he will have if he does play against LSU. It takes time to get up to game speed. Passes you can make at practice get hands on them in games. Hopefully he can make a difference for the positive if he plays.

Re: Queta?
Honestly, I don't know why someone would post information about a key player and if they are playing or not. Keep the opponent guessing!! I know many of you think this is a harmless little website and what is said here is insignificant. It's not. Opposing coaches have GAs that read fan boards like this hoping to find any edge they can in everything from game planning to recruiting. I do know what the plan is for Neemias this weekend and I'm keeping my mouth shut because I promised I would.

I think it is only appropriate that Aggies22 sends everyone who posts in this thread a PM about Neemy's plans for the upcoming game

Re: Queta?
I also know what the plan is for Queta this weekend and I wish I could say something. I will bet anyone that my information is 100% accurate. Place your bets, if you doubt, I won't be able to tell you until after this weekend because I promised not to say anything until then, but I'm a very honest person.

Re: Queta?
Well, I did stay at a Holiday Inn express last night, and my cousin's friends neighbors dog told me. I guess it's pretty serious.

I heard he had a leg amputated and may not ever be able to walk again without a cane or wooden prosthesis.

Re: Queta?
Please don't share such information. Now the other team won't be intimidated when he walks out on to the court. His prostheses are very good ones and it is hard to tell the difference from the de facto legs and his real legs. Again, please keep such strategically competitive information to yourself. This site is currently being bombarded from large number of IP addresses from Louisiana area.

Re: Queta?
I recall times last year when we held or increased our leads when Nemi was on the bench with foul trouble or getting a breather. And I also think the repeated angst over the problems that Washington's defense and athleticism presented us, seem to pass over the fact that Nemi got manhandled down low.
This year's team with the addition of Anderson, the marked improvement in Bean, and to a lesser extent in Brito and Abel combined with Kuba, Bairstow (give this kid some time folks), is much better suited to withstand the limited time from Queta then last year's team.
I also don't get hung up on what kind of seed we would get in March if we stumble a bit in November. Get the guy healthy, get him ramped up to 100% and we are gonna be really tough out for anyone we play in March. I understand everyone salivating about how good we can be with him. I am the same way, but I'm not buying the gloom and doom of the present situation. I'm definitely not willing to trade places with any other team in the MWC.

Re: Queta?
Queta played all summer against FIBA basketball players, some even going to the NBA next year. In addition, he played an entire Season of D1 ball where he manhandled many guys down low and got NCAA tourney experience. There were a few times he did get a bit manhandled, but I wouldn’t say he got manhandled against Washington. It’s more like Merrill got manhandled...as Queta didn’t play awful imo. To add to the experience, Queta got an entire week at the NBA combine to improve his skills and watch top prospects. In my mind, I don’t care if he hasn’t played all season, he is by far the best option! Whenever he does play, we will definitely be better in many aspects and have a scary good team!

Re: Queta?
He will be playing this weekend. You heard it hear first.
They are in Jamaica of course he will be out playing on the beach with the team a bit and enjoying a new country.

This post is likely straight up poor sarcasm and cannot be taken seriously.

Re: Queta?
So long as our team stays focused, and doesn't participate in any Jamaican herbal remedies, we're going to be very hard to beat this Friday. This is exactly the kind of game our team has been focused on since we lost to Washington.

I'll think they'll be sitting in the government yard in Trenchtown.

I never know what information to listen too on this board. People earlier saying he will play, then people say they know but won't say, and then now this. SO CONFUSING!?

I'm not trying to be douche baggy and I apologize if I come off that way. I'm trying to encourage others that may possibly be privvy to info regarding Neemias to keep it to themselves from a strategic standpoint for the coaching staff.
I'm slightly surprised that we haven't heard more will he? Won't he? In regards to Jordan Love but I expect that to ramp up tomorrow.

We are saving him as a secret weapon when we get to the National Championship game. Until then, we've got to keep the opponents guessing and off balance.

Re: Queta?
I would just let everyone go back and forth on it. For every 2 that say he will play there are at least 2 that say he won’t. Nobody reading this board could get even the slightest idea if he will play or not.aggies22 wrote:I'm not trying to be douche baggy and I apologize if I come off that way.
