Some key stats
We shot 35% from the field for the game, but still won. Here are some key stats that made that possible.
We went 31-34 from the free throw line. That's 91.2% for the game.
Out-rebounded Fresno 37-30.
Held them to 36.8% from the field.
Only turned the ball over 10 times in 45 minutes of play.
It was great to see our guys pull of the win despite a really poor shooting performance. On to the next one!

Grimes being taken out by Queta on fouls should be mention.treesap32 wrote: ↑December 7th, 2019, 6:45 pmWe shot 35% from the field for the game, but still won. Here are some key stats that made that possible.

Grimes is a beast, that was huge.

I know USU tried to get Grimes and I think we were in final 3? He’s a good player

Man, he was a bigtime recruit! Picked Fresno over some big time schools.SpectrumMagic wrote: ↑December 7th, 2019, 7:31 pmI know USU tried to get Grimes and I think we were in final 3? He’s a good player

Re: Some key stats
Grimes was dominating all game. Only had one foul. As soon as Queta came in, he got 2 quick fouls and they pulled him. I was hoping we would then start dominating inside but we pulled Queta the next possession. I can’t wait to get him back into playing shape and full health. I think for sure, without Queta we don’t turn that game around. The tide was going the wrong direction before he came in.SLB wrote:Grimes being taken out by Queta on fouls should be mention.treesap32 wrote: ↑December 7th, 2019, 6:45 pmWe shot 35% from the field for the game, but still won. Grimes played awesome. It was great to see Queta have a very big impact on getting him fouled out.

I know he came on an unofficial visit once. I don't recall actually getting him to officially visit.SpectrumMagic wrote: ↑December 7th, 2019, 7:31 pmI know USU tried to get Grimes and I think we were in final 3? He’s a good player
