He cracked us up when discussing an over the top call he received during a rebounding play. He went straight up for the rebound and came down with it only to be called for the over the top on one of their shorter players. At the end of his exchange with the ref he blurted out. “But he is SMALL”. Seems like a guy that can find the humor in most situations.

He is a really good (I can't express myself without swearing) talker. His mouth goes all game on the bench, nothing obscene, just good digs ALL GAME.

He showed better than some of our starting stiffs of the old days.

I love it when he gets in. He plays very physical. I think we should have Queta, Kuba and Dorius spend a whole practice with Groot showing them how to post their guy up and get good positioning down low on the block. Right now our guys post up way too far away from the basket that the defender has already won the battle. Now our post players need to work their way in and usually end up losing the ball or get called for a offensive foul.
