SDSU Tickets
I just looked for tickets to the SDSU game, and it looks like there are only singles left. I was hoping to go and bring some friends and need 5 tickets. Anyone have any ideas?

Re: SDSU Tickets
I wonder what the AD is going to do about the student section. The students still won’t be back in town yet as they start classes Monday, January, 6.

Re: SDSU Tickets
I am hoping we get a good student turnout for the game, but with the winter break I bet we will only get at best ~1/2 of the student section full. It would be great if the AD works with the students and allocates ~1000 or student tickets to the general public for purchase. Assuming the Aggies can beat UNLV this is going to be a huge match up and we will need a rocking atmosphere.

How has the student section turnout been so far this season? The SDSU game will be the first one I’m going to.

Re: SDSU Tickets
It has been pretty solid. I would say it has been anywhere from 1/2 to 2/3 for most games.SwaggieAggie wrote: ↑December 22nd, 2019, 7:10 pmHow has the student section turnout been so far this season? The SDSU game will be the first one I’m going to.

I'll bet the students come back in full force for that one.Roy McAvoy wrote: ↑December 22nd, 2019, 6:36 pmI wonder what the AD is going to do about the student section. The students still won’t be back in town yet as they start classes Monday, January, 6.

Re: SDSU Tickets
I would expect students to be in full force. School starts Monday and after a long break, many will come back Saturday just to be settled and with no classes yet, this will be the kick off party to the new semester.

Re: SDSU Tickets
You have a few options on Vividseats.com, section U rows 22 and 27 someone is selling 5 together for $35/ticket. Section W has 2 rows available but they start at $55/ticket however they are a better angle of the court but on row 31. Section E has some on the back row together at $41/ticket. They are a little more expensive on stubhub. This is before whatever fees they apply. Good Luck!

Re: SDSU Tickets
I managed to get some on Vivid Seats. With fees and shipping they ended up being about $45 ea. A little steep, but it should be fun.

Re: SDSU Tickets
Grateful I bought mine two weeks ago. I found them in Vivid for $25 each and when I checked again today my exact row and section jumped to $47.. SDSU has a decent shot to be top 10 by Jan 4th so I can only imagine how much more they could keep rising..
Re: SDSU Tickets
Welp, i wish USU good luck because their 2 cracks at SDSU in the MWC will basically determine if they get in the big dance. They just need to win 1 of them while avoiding any bad losses or trap games(the teams with sub .500 record, on a true road gameswill be tough)
SDSU is #1 in NET rankings and #14/15 in coaches/ap poll and projected to be a 3 seed in the NCAA tournament. At this point, I really don't mind if we lose to USU. We are just playing for seeding at this point.

I like the confidence, conference play just startin', but you JUST playin' for seeding. Good luck, hope you can avoid the injury bug, long season still to go.SDSU wrote: ↑December 24th, 2019, 7:54 amWelp, i wish USU good luck because their 2 cracks at SDSU in the MWC will basically determine if they get in the big dance. Go Aggies!
Re: SDSU Tickets
although I do appreciate your "good luck" gesture, it's really not needed. SDSU doesn't play in a power 6 conference, so the chances of them choking in the MWC is extremely slim. Even if SDSU gets a maximum of 9 losses before selection sunday, we woulds still get in the ncaa tournament as a fringe bubble team.Aggie19 wrote: ↑December 24th, 2019, 8:10 amI like the confidence, conference play just startin', but you JUST playin' for seeding. i really believe USU is an ncaa tournament team. They are definitely good enough made evident by beating LSU and Florida on a neutral court.
Unfortunately UNM is basically out. THey've suspended three of their best players.

Re: SDSU Tickets
Looking at the Nevada game the week following and there was one spot with three tickets by each other and the rest of it is just single tickets so that one should be close to a sell-out as well.

SDSU, if you can make it out to Logan for this game, I'll start a Kickstarter for a pint of Aggie Ice cream for you.

Re: SDSU Tickets
Haha. If SDSU gets 9 losses in the MWC they will need to win the MWC tournament. Given that they lucked out at home against the worst team in conference, 9 losses may be a possibility. I think if SDSU takes 4-5 losses in conference they will be sweating come selection Sunday and it won’t be a 3 next to their name if they get in.
If you can earn a place in the dance before January you sure can lose it as well come March. Keep overlooking your conference schedule though, it doesn’t matter.

Will there be many students back? Does the athletics department send out any type of announcement via email so the students in general know SDSU is in town this weekend?

Re: SDSU Tickets
I think there will. The last couple of years on the Saturday game before school starts we had around half the student section filled up. Last year I was surprised by how many students showed up. There are also a lot more dedicated students this year than last year which I actually think will make a difference.

Re: SDSU Tickets
Agreed. However do we have 4,000 dedicated students who are aware the game is on Saturday? An email blast or campaign by the university might help. I wish in this case the students had to reserve a seat and then any extra 24 hours before could be sold to the general public.Dkdavis wrote: ↑December 30th, 2019, 3:45 pmI think there will. Re: SDSU Tickets
I hesitate saying this because I don't want this thread to be turned into another anti-hurd premium thread, but everyone in Hurd Premium got an email that the doors will open at 7:00 for all students. Because it's a nationally ranked team hurd premium won't get let in early. Last I heard there was between 1000-1200 hurd premium members so hopefully the news spreads.

I'm actually 75% sure it is one of our old NMSU trolls (Dancing or Frank), but they cant come around trolling as NMSU fans anymore (for obvious reasons) so they're pretending to be a SDSU fan instead.
I just can't picture an SDSU fan trolling here and thinking that shtick would get under anyones skin

A few years ago while I was there many waited until the Sunday night before it seemed. Hopefully enough come back Saturday so we can get a true Spectrum atmosphere for this gameTheAKAggie wrote: ↑December 30th, 2019, 9:12 pmStudents aren’t waiting until Monday to back, they’ll be here.

Re: SDSU Tickets
no we don't. Do you know how NET rankings work genius? we are the #1 team in the country. NET ranking is the only ranking that matter. Basically if you are #1 in NET like SDSU; that means you have the best resume out of ALL of the D1 team.scotlandog wrote: ↑December 24th, 2019, 9:00 pmHaha. We are just playing for seeding at this point.
Utah St has 2 or possibly 3 cracks at the #1 team in the country.
