Silver lining

Post by ineptimusprime » January 8th, 2020, 12:26 am

It’s all but guaranteed we will be getting Smith and Queta for another year.

Honestly, I’m starting to wonder if we may be getting four years of Queta. He has not looked the part of an NBA prospect at all. Doesn’t seem to be able to affect shots much yet or get up well for dunks/rebounds. Jury is still out on whether the weight he added is a good thing. He seems like much more of a big stiff this year.

Getting brutally outrebounded by the Hobbits of AFA tonight was probably about as damaging for his draft stock as anything could be.

Could just be injury rust though, but probably safe to say he will be back.

We need quick guards who can get in the lane and create.

Shoot. I thought the silver lining was that the Patriots had somehow found a way to lose AGAIN.

What are the rules on medical grey shirts? With the season in a free fall perhaps we could apply for Queta and have him another 3 years. It's sad what has happened to his physical dominance, let the lesson be not to play for your national youth teams. FIBA sucks.

That’s the platinum lining. Screw the Pats!

Silver lining should be no more posts inquiring about the net tracker and what seed we will be in March.

I would have no problem losing Smith at the end of the year if it meant that we had another special season with maybe a trip to the sweet 16. Losing coaches in those scenarios is great in my opinion.

Are you referring to "Carson Bischoff"? When I have watched him and from what others have told me he is not a game changer when it comes to getting to the hole or creating his own shot.

I am guessing 22 is referring to Marco Anthony. I am SUPER excited to watch him play. I think he is the type of player that will impact immediately next year.

Ding! Ding! Marco Anthony can do all the things many of you have been asking for. If he has a weakness right now I would say it's shooting the three but that is being addressed.

That is great news! We already have some "3 point shooters" even though they may not be shooting like it and am guessing we will have even more with guys like McChesney. So it is music to my ears to hear we have a guy who can create shots and drive to the hoop....which is what I am guessing you mean by saying "things many of you have been asking for."

That is correct my Aggie brother!
