Re: Sam’s shot
Is that anything like Downtown Abbey?Real Life Aggie wrote: ↑February 13th, 2020, 11:30 amA common misconception. "Tony" is actually a nickname. It's Downtown "Tony" Brown.

Same spelling, but pronounced with less estrogen.BigBlueDart wrote: ↑February 13th, 2020, 2:44 pmIs that anything like Downtown Abbey?Real Life Aggie wrote: ↑February 13th, 2020, 11:30 amA common misconception. "Tony" is actually a nickname. It's Downtown "Tony" Brown.

Yeah, I too wish he was more engaged in the game. He just seems disinterested out there.FL350Aggie wrote:It had my boy and I jumping like crazy men. Sam is a stud. Hits a clutch 3, doesn’t flex, pound his chest, or “primal scream”. He just gets it done.

Re: Sam’s shot
And there's the knock on Sam's game. While definitely lacking emotion after a big shot, he hasn't mastered the total apathy achieved by the all-time Aggie great in that department: Chaz Spicer. That was a guy who could hit a game-winning three and take a nap immediately afterward on the court if the team would have let him lay down.

I swear I remember Rod saying that in the past. I'm glad someone may be with me on that.

Re: Sam’s shot
I thought it was Upstairs Downstairs Abbey.
Does Downtown have any remaining eligibility? Even at his age he could probably shoot higher than 20%.

I was so excited to see Brian Green on the court last home game. I kept waiting for someone to set up a screen so he could drain 3s.WannabeAgAlum wrote: ↑February 14th, 2020, 1:34 pmI thought it was Upstairs Downstairs Abbey.
