Nicolas Carvacho

Post by AgMan21 » February 11th, 2020, 10:49 pm

Seems like an all-around good guy. After a tough game and tough loss he could have been bitter, but he gave Queta a hug at the end of the game which I think shows a lot of class. Wish we had him on our team.

He and Queta seem to get along pretty well. I noticed after the game in the Spectrum they stopped and talked to each other for a while after the game was over.

I’m sure they share a bond in that they are both from neighboring countries in Europe.

It is fun to see mutual respect among players. There is for sure respect on both sides and they seem to really care and like each other after the game is done.

I've felt this way about CSU basketball as a whole this year. Seemed to be less contention and more respect amongst to two teams. I'm sure the coaches familiarity with each other is a big part of it. I've really enjoyed the Queta/Carvacho matchup for the last two years because of it.

I remember before the game at the Spectrum, he came over and shook Coach Smith's hand. He seemed like a good guy.

Imagine a lineup of Stevens, Merrill, Bean, Carvacho, and Queta! We could be called the Colorutah State Ramgies.

I thought about this as well. If you replaced Miller with Thistlewood and we had Stevens as our starting point guard we would be unstoppable.
