Thompson was in the middle of our teams celebration after our win. Players were jumping up and down, and there was Thompson frown upon his face and looking like, damn my darling San Diego State didn't win. Had Boise State won I wonder if Thompson would have been smiling more.

The conference gets more money and exposure from usu being in. Sdsu gets a 2 seed in California. If anything, he was cheering for usu.

Not sure why so many Aggie fans think all of the announcers, officials, media, and the conference are out to get us for some reason.

Hair Thompson did look pretty unhappy to have to hand that trophy to the Aggies. I've never got the impression that he cares for us much.

Surprised he didn't hold his nose as he handed it over. He definitely looks down on USU.

Thompson is a tool. The only commissioner I think lower of is Larry Scott

One thing I can remember related to conference revenue was after we got snubbed in 2004, Pacific's coach Bob Thomason, talked about it being uncalled for and how we got screwed. Even after the NIT loss which cause us and most to view the snub as legit, he still mentioned that it was unfortunate what happened but understood us being down after the snub. Then in the preseason interview, he spent alot more time talking about the snub and how we were screwed. I posted that I had alot of respect for him talking about the snub, and others hated him cause of comments about our crowd. One poster turned their nose at him talking about the snub telling me that he only talked about it cause he was looking out for TV revenue for the conference and had nothing to do with how much he respected us.

Fudd Farrell of the old Big West was a real turd also! When we won the Big West or maybe it was the PCAA then, but we won the conference tournament in 1988 with Kevin Nixon, Gregg Housekeeper, John Judkins, etc. we beat Irvine in the finals. Irvine upset UNLV. When they gave the trophy to us it was inscribed with congrats UNLV. Rod Tueller saw it and said, a can you put our name there instead of UNLV? When we were in a league with all California schools, we did get screwed. I could tell you story after story.

Remember, I am 25% Scottish, 25% Swedish, 25% English, and 25% Danish. So with the Scottish and Danish the important thing is when you get the shaft and have been wronged, REVENGE is the name of life!
