9:02 mark has to be the best part. That doesn't sound like "sit"

I never realized Sam Diego had so little going on that usufans.com was the preferred entertainment at 2 am.

I'm not sure Sam Diego State will still get a #1 seed mate, could see them sliding down to a 2/3 now

Disagree. Dutcher handled every question with respect and enthusiasm which is something I can't say for a lot of coaches. I actually respect Fagen a lot. He's the only one that had the stones to step up and guard the best player on Utah State and also take the heat for it.

I can't say the same for Flynn.

yeah Feigon was willing to field questions there while Flynn was pouting. I just think Dutcher's speaking style is interesting. Remind's me of the Voice Immodulation skit from SNL. Paul Weir was the most impressive coach I heard from this week.

The last time we played Ohio State we sent them packing and nearly made Clark Kellogg cry on national TV.

I agree completely!! Dutcher was in a difficult situation. He hated to lose as badly as the players but I thought he handled the questions very well. Also, he gave credit to Utah State. It is so easy to be critical of people, especially coaches and players.

Pre-congrats on your win against the winner of the Mid Eastern conference. Norfolk state will be a tough out... good thing you are angry. You are welcome for putting y’all in that mindset.

I have a new found respect for Dutcher. He didn’t flinch on any question. He was truthful, complimentary to his opponent, and was sincere about it. What I thought he did best was, with his players sitting listening, he said they deserved to be down. He said that they will get over it quickly and be ok. They should feel down because they hate to lose because of how competitive they are. He handled a tough situation as well as anyone could. Props.

I have to say, I didn’t think Dutcher was that good of a coach until I watched that press conference. I am genuinely impressed. He had a lot of good things to say, had a good outlook on the implications of the game, and was honest in the way he answered.

Lots of respect to San Diego State. They are going to make some noise in the tourney.

Dutcher reminds of Ric Majerus and Tarkanian in the way he handles defeat, is complimentary of opposing players, and the way he embraces the hostility of the Spectrum. He seems like a class act to me.

It’s on the mw.com website. There is a one hour and eight minute video of the combined press conference - both usu and sdsu.

Again, I have no problem with what Dutcher said. He took the loss like a man and was complimentary. I’ve just always found his way of speaking and mannerisms interesting and kind of comical in his interviews.

I can't understand the put downs to a bunch of players who had a great season and just had their hearts ripped out on National TV in near primetime. It's like some of you have forgotten that SDSU absolutely kicked US (I can't express myself without swearing) 2 times this season. Flynn had a helluva 2nd half - I think it was 15 of their 27 points. He deserves to be sullen in the hour after that effort resulting in a last-second upset.
I'll be rooting for SDSU to go at least Elite 8 and further depending on the matchups.
