We are not recruiting Justice Hill.
Crazy. I fully trust the coaching staff, but I would be really curious to know why they aren't. He's the best player on the #5 JUCO team in the country and was the Region 18 player of the year.

My concern would he be like JK3 in lack of 3 point shooting, and the highlights show a bit of shot happy and no passing player.

How many spots remain?
Any real updates on Stall on if he will be on the team next year?
Did Anderson get his extra year?
Do anyone have stats on the new recruits?
Is there any transfer coming our way?
How many are in their final year next season?
Did the NCAA put that new purposed transfer rule in place?
Who do all expect to be our starting guards to be next season?
Question 1 - Technically just 1.
Question 2 - No definitive word on Stall. He did just have surgery on his back.
Question 3 - The waiver request has NOT been submitted for Anderson yet. It can't happen until the summer.
Question 4 - I'll see what stats I can dig up for you.
Question 5 - I won't be surprised if we add a grad transfer AND a JuCo guy. A scorer is needed.
Question 6 - As it currently stands Kuba and Fonzo would be seniors but I'm confident that Fonzo will get a 6th year.
Question 7 - The new transfer rule has not been ratified YET. Final vote will take place later this summer as long as the world hasn't imploded from the coronavirus pandemic.
Question 8 - Marco Anthony and likely a guard to be signed later.
Question 8 - The plan is for Miller to be an off-the-bench guy?
I think they would like to recruit a more consistent scorer.
I was wondering if Miller is going into his final season. He is going to be a RS JR.
I can't imagine Brock Miller would hang it up after his junior year.

He looks small. Not saying he doesn’t look good. But the coaching staff seems to like size. The bigger and longer the better.

Miller will be entering his 4th year of school, and my guess graduating after this next season so it is something to keep an eye on.

I would guess concerns about him fitting into the system/culture. Any feedback on this from people who are less ignorant than me?

I'm thinking he may be a little short for our liking. I think he's only 5-9.
I’d be surprised to find someone better at this point. I know he’s small but he’s strong and is Darwin Thompson-like in athleticism. He’s a match up nightmare for teams with his speed and tenacity. He has good elevation to get shots off and is great at press break and on ball pressure. 34% isn’t bad from three given he’s not a catch and shoot guy and is usually creating his shot. I would’ve killed to have another perimeter player shoot 34% this season.

Ah, that makes a lot of sense actually. I didn't realize he was that small. It makes a lot of sense given the success we've had with tall guards.

Rollie Worster's Hellgate team defeaated Billings West 48-34 in state semis. Rollie has 23 pts. Hellgate also has a 6'8" PF that is committed to Army. With that 1-2 punch it's now wonder Hellgate is dominating Montana hoops.

I assume the same too. I heard something about us maybe getting PG Kobe Robinson as a grad transfer.
I assume you're talking about Kobe Webster out of Western Illinois. It sounds like he's going to end up at Nebraska, so we can probably cross him off.

Rollie Worster's high school career comes to a close, as the championship game of the Montana tourney is canceled. Hellgate ends the season 23-0.

Nebraska had only one returnee that played significant minutes last year. They ended up recruiting two football players to complete their roster for the BIG tourney. Hoiberg is a good coach. They will get better, but whether they rise to top of BIG is yet to be seen. I don't blame a kid for wanting to play in packed houses in the BIG as compared to playing at Wyoming and San Jose.

Too bad as I was hoping we could land him. Some kids just want to try their hand in a P5 conference. Also Hoiberg is a great recruiter and may actually be able to get Nebraska competitive in the Big 10.

By next year though? I’d think if I only had 1 year left I wouldn’t go to a place that was awful the previous year.

I say Nebraska are not a likely NCAA tournament team next season. They were a 7 or 8 win team that won only two in-conference games and lost Northwestern twice, and they lost Cam Mack. For one year player, it is an odd decision.

Since Nebraska moved into the PBA they've been in the top 15 nationally in attendance every year. 2018-19 they were #10 with an average attendance of 15,341. Granted, it is a football school, but they are starved for a winning basketball program. As far as a Husker fan being interested in USU, that might have something to do with Coach Smith. He was well regarded there.

There's really no reason to be butt hurt by a kid from Illinois choosing a midwestern P5 school over us. Possibly dreamed of playing in the BIG his whole life, just like Sam dreamed of playing here.

I don’t think anyone is butt hurt. I certainly am not. Just pointing most grad transfers would like to pick a winner and Nebraska currently is not.
