Re: Coaches vote on who would have won March Madness
Can someone tell me why the Net Rankings have been excluding two of our wins from our W/L? They've been two games shy on the Ws for months and I don't understand why. Currently says our final record was 24-8 but I noticed it wasn't keeping track of all our wins a long time ago.
Apologies if this got brought up somewhere else and was already addressed.

Non-D1 games: We know you like watching your team win by 50 points. It's fun but NET doesn't care about these games.

The coaching staff tried right until the last minute to try and avoid having to schedule lower division games but they just couldn't find anyone willing to come to Logan.Naked Bull Rider wrote: ↑March 17th, 2020, 1:39 pmAhhhhh now I get it. Re: Coaches vote on who would have won March Madness
They can't literally be Road Warriors all the time. The fans and the players deserve to have home games as well. I would say the road/neutral court games they took on were plenty difficult.Aggie19 wrote: ↑March 17th, 2020, 3:28 pmLet's go on the road then.aggies22 wrote: ↑March 17th, 2020, 3:25 pmThe coaching staff tried right until the last minute to try and avoid having to schedule lower division games but they just couldn't find anyone willing to come to Logan.Naked Bull Rider wrote: ↑March 17th, 2020, 1:39 pmAhhhhh now I get it. I agree. I understand that the spectrum is a nasty place to play if you're not an Aggie, but I don't understand why middle P5 teams won't come to Logan.aggies22 wrote: ↑March 17th, 2020, 3:32 pmThey can't literally be Road Warriors all the time. If they win they get a Q1 win, prove to themselves they can beat good teams in tough environments, and it'll boost confidence.
If they lose it won't likely be a bad loss and it'll prove to be a steel sharpens steel scenerio.
Okay, I get why. Pride and money. Coming to Logan would be a concession that we are not as lowly as they proclaim...

Re: Coaches vote on who would have won March Madness
Y'all can correct me if I'm wrong, but those two games were supposed to be the Jamaica classic home games, and the Jamaica classic screwed up, which left us scrambling to find two teams that would come play, and we weren't able to find any good teams given the short time frame to find them. I think we can get P5 teams to come, lower ones at least, if we have the time.USUMAE wrote: ↑March 17th, 2020, 4:02 pmI agree.
