Thanks aggies22 for the write-ups. However, can I suggest changing the title to something along the lines of "Preseason Positional Preview for Positionless Basketball"?
You might win the Nobel in physics for something so abstract.

I really wish our shooters would pump fake and move sideways so they are still shooting a three. Stepping in for a long two is a statistical win for the defense.

When Queta was out last season, we played a good deal of "small ball" without a Dorius/Kuba/Queta. Hopefully Queta stays healthy and can play 30 minutes a game, but when he's on the bench could we see a Alphonso/Bean/3 guard combo? Or is Queta going to be replaced by another big each time he goes out?

We have Zapala now, who has a lot of promise, plus hopefully development from Trevin Dorius. It sounds like Kuba will be the low man on the totem pole.trevordude wrote: ↑November 23rd, 2020, 2:00 pmWhen Queta was out last season, we played a good deal of "small ball" without a Dorius/Kuba/Queta. Good question... I'd prefer to see Anderson not playing the big, but he did it successfully, and there are clear times when going to small ball will help.
