I appreciate the write up, but it is flawed. You mentioned Bairstow has "off the charts athleticism". This is categorically false. He does NOT pass the eye test.

I believe the correct terminology is "sneaky athletic."flying_scotsman2.0 wrote: ↑November 24th, 2020, 8:50 amI appreciate the write up, but it is flawed. You mentioned Bairstow has "off the charts athleticism". This is categorically false. He does NOT pass the eye test.

I bet he'll struggle to defend "more athletic" players though.aggieguy13 wrote: ↑November 24th, 2020, 10:23 amI believe the correct terminology is "sneaky athletic."flying_scotsman2.0 wrote: ↑November 24th, 2020, 8:50 amI appreciate the write up, but it is flawed. Seems we have a lot more experience in the forwards and center, so it'll be interesting to see the point production from the guards this year. I'd be interested in how many shots coach Smith expects from these players, versus how much he needs competent passing and defense from this position group.

Great insight. But what about the new foreign guys? You didn't mention them in your write up.

I see that 22 has both Shulga and Vedischev listed in his write-up on the Forwards. I think Vedischev is likely a traditional small forward but Shulga is only 6'4". I was expecting him possibly to play some 2. Then again we are talking about positionless basketball so maybe it doesn't matter.OrangeCountyAggie wrote: ↑November 24th, 2020, 12:28 pmGreat insight. He mentioned them as forwards (small forwards). Shulga ahead of Zahar v. On the depth chart.OrangeCountyAggie wrote: ↑November 24th, 2020, 12:28 pmGreat insight. But what about the new foreign guys? You didn't mention them in your write up.
