He got to the 20(2) and 6 I hoped for. Hope he can keep it up.

You think Smith pulled him to the side and had a few words? Maybe something about becoming a leader and being aggressive

Or we were two games into a season with like 8 new players and we didn't have any scrimmages and they're starting to smooth things out

Great game by Anthony he played really well. His shot is not that pretty but as long as it goes in that's all that matters. If he can shoot greater than 35% from 3 he will be really really effective. His defense in the second half on green was really good. He's got to do better at free throw shooting, as one of our guards in tough, close games he's going to get fouled so he's got to be able to knock those down.

I think moving him off the ball really helped him make downhill decisions. We desperately need him to stay aggressive and get to the line.

I'll eat my crow as well I guess... The first half he struggled on defense a bit, but his offense production was great. In the second half he definitely did a lot better defending green. This was the Marco I was hoping for.

He looked very tentative yesterday like he was thinking too much. Today he seemed decisive and aggressive. I have to think the coaches took him aside and let him know how they needed him to play. Big props to him.

Just finished the game, great to see Marco with the player of The game. Hope that helps him build sole confidence for the season.

I disagree about the first half. I thought he was fantastic the whole game on D. Green had most of his points on other defenders.

I stand corrected. His first half was actually pretty good. He had a couple of plays in a row where he got beat and I assumed the whole half was like that. He killed it all around.

Loved his game and drive today. However, I'm tempering because he's not expected to be a consistent offensive weapon, right?

His defense was stellar, and I that's what I want to see him doing game in and game out. Hitting a few open shots, stepping up in key moments, driving to the basket sometimes are all icing.
