That save in bounds in the first half was the craziest effort play I’ve seen.

Yes.

And the lob on the out of bounds play was awesome, too

Another play i loved was from shulga the other night when he saved the ball goung out of bounds. He was probably 6 feet out of bounds and still saved it. Loved the effort.

We need a poster shot of that Bean save. They were all GATA tonight. The between the legs hike that quarterback RW had was great and not just a showboat play, but was about the only way it could be saved and passed.

I've heard about the hike pass all night, but I tuned in late in the first half and must have missed it.

Does not get much better than those. Those are plays that ignite teams and fans alike. Loved the effort plays these last 2 games. GATA was out in full force.

Speaking of Bean - I have never seen a 6'8" guy get a three-point attempt blocked like he did in that game. His defender was like 5 or 6 feet away when he went to shoot and the shot got blocked. In the first game against Nevada, Gottlieb said "Bean.... from his mid-section" when he attempt a three-pointer. I chuckled at that.

Bean and Anthony both shoot a set shot for three that releases really low.

He can shoot underhand for all I care, but only once per game unless he makes diving saves, then he gets one more 3 ball attempt.

It's weird, why doesn't someone teach him proper shooting mechanics? It's one thing to have a goofy shot and be good at it. We've seen players at the college and pro levels with good coaching dramatically improve their shot over an offseason. Is Bean not getting the help he needs in that area?

What's funny is that his midrange jumper looks great. HIs hands are up and his mechanics are great. He makes most of those. But his three point shot mechanics are horrible. He needs to shoot his three the same as his other shots.
