Utah’s cupboards are pretty bare. I’m sure he’s going to try and convince some guys to go with him.

The way he backstabbed the players though I would hope they would not want to follow him.

Not sure, but wouldnt be surprised to see a few. That being said if wants to be successful at Utah he is going to need some more impact recruits. Watching the NCAA tournament the PAC 12 has a lot talent in that league.

I guess this is the bright side of recruiting being a complete zero thus far this year. Smith didn't bring any USD guys here except incoming recruits.

He tried hard to bring Mooney. I would be shocked if he didn’t try for Worster or Bean.

He didn’t get any transfers coming from South Dakota State. I don’t see a player that would benefit from a move to the Utes either. Wooster is the starter next season and Bean would move from campus hero to another player.

The scary thing about moving to Utah is that its just down the road. So if the players wanted to stay close to home or liked Utah they wouldn't have to go far, just a P5 school.

All I know is that they is a lot of loyalty to coach smith. Those guys love him and want what’s best for him as well.

Bean may love Coach Smith, but USU's love of Bean is far greater than that. He is a legend on campus and around Logan in general. I doubt he'd leave.

I wouldn't be surprised if many of those who don't follow him don't stick around at usu. Thinking of Mcchesney, Zapala, Rollie, etc.

We probably aren't going to be great next year but that was already the case.

He left the team in a worse place than when he got here. He had one impact recruit that got him a ton of money. I bet he takes the kid in the portal from SD though, but I’m just bummed about how bad next year will be.
