Is this better than being the worst 12-1 team in the country?

How does the Mountsin West not have any top 25 teams with how good the conference is this year?

I think the league is "deep" as in more well balanced overall but I don't think the league has any elite teams. I think the USU and SDSU teams of the last 2-3 years would dominate this year's MWC.

I really think we have a few teams that have fortunate and sort of unexplainable NET ratings that have in turn bolstered the conference rating. For instance, I look at who Wyoming played in OOC and scratch my head at how they ended up ranked so high. Outside of Grand Canyon they racked up a bunch of Q3 and Q4 wins and somehow ended up sub 20. They proceeded to lose their only Q1 and another Q2 game but still lingered in upper 20s- low 30s.??? It reminds me of the old days of jobbing the RPI with circular match ups.

Did anyone really think the Bears had any chance at all to beat the Yankees? That team was stacked. Buttermaker was in way over his head.
