Re: Justin Bean
I was just wondering if he had signed on with a G-league team or maybe an overseas team.

Re: Justin Bean
The exhibit 10 contract Bean signed with the Clippers gave them his rights for the upcoming season. As far as I can tell, he is still under contract with the Clippers, but they can only have 20 players on their roster once training camp begins.
The Clippers signed a handful of exhibit 10 guys within the last few days and their training camp roster appears to be set at 20 without Bean. I don't know exactly what that means for Bean, but he probably won't be with the Clippers for training camp. If they waive him and no one else claims him, he may stay with the Clippers on their G League affiliate. If I had to guess, that's where he will end up but it's totally up in the air. We'll know for sure within a week or so.

Re: Justin Bean
I think the comment was sarcasm directed at folks that haven't noticed that NBA teams don't draft 26 year-old white guys.

Re: Justin Bean
They don't draft 23 year old white guys either. Except Sam Merrill.
That said, you are right about Bean's age. Sam was the oldest player drafted since 2012. And he is 6 months younger than Bean. It's an incredible accomplishment by Bean that teams are even looking at him at his age.
I'm glad to hear Bean is with Memphis. They've always been willing to give oddball players a real shot. I guess the Clippers waived him after Summer League and it just wasn't reported?

Re: Justin Bean
Good luck to Bean. He has given himself a chance and that is more than most guys get.
