Our seed is probably fair-ish. But the MWC got hosed. We will see where UNM falls and if UNR is even in at this point.

I knew we were toast when I saw who BYU and SDSU drew. Would have loved either of those matchups.

All I wanted was not to play a P5 school.

What a joke our conference got absolutely hosed.

Just pure committee inconsistency. If SDSU gets a 5 seed, the same seeding they got in the MWC tournament, then the committee is saying the MWC is a strong conference. But then they give 8 and worse to all the teams that finished ahead of SDSU over a 2 month season schedule.

Man, all you have to do is win. It's the tournament and MW teams are getting paired with middle of the pack P5 schools. We either win or shut up.

I'd have rather been Nevada playing Dayton in SLC.

Got hosed but having a checked out coach and getting smoked by SDSU we deserved it.

It’s crazy we have 6 teams in, more than the ACC, more than the PAC 12, the same number as the Big 10 but terrible seeding as a conference.

If Nevada and BYU can beat them, we're in the game. Looking at their stats, they're not world beaters. Looking at our history lately though, all bets are off.

The eastern bias this year is stronger than ever. UNM would’ve been out if they didn’t win the MWT. What a joke.

I understand the tourney is all about matchups, but wherever we ended up (say between 6 and 10), we were going to play a very good team.

Gonzaga getting a 5 seed shows that this committee only cares about programs that have won games in previous tournaments.

Apparently BPI punishes us for playing at altitude. That’s insane. Damn near antitrust insane

The 8-9 matchup is worse than a 10,11, and even a 12. Terrible. I was hoping NWC could send a couple to sweet 15, right now I would be thrilled with 3 wins total.

Has anyone told Danny when we play? He was busy during the selection show with a virtual showing of real estate in Seattle.

Past years of success or lack thereof shouldn’t matter. But apparently they did for this collection of dumbasses.

I'd order teams MWC teams drew that I'd want to see Utah State play is:

1. UAB
2. Virginia
3. TCU
4. Clemson
5. Colorado
6. Dayton

I think outside of UAB, we would have been complaining about Virginia, TCU, Clemson, Colorado, and Dayton. And Dayton in Salt Lake, despite being close to home for many Aggies, would be a tough team to compete against. For some reason, we can't shoot 3s there.

TCU's quad 1-4 records are similar to ours, though they've played many more games against strong teams. I think many of our past years' teams have not fully had this aggressive winning mentality where they show up and dominate in high-stakes games. Outside of the SDSU game on Friday and the Nevada game in Logan, this team mostly seems to assume they'll win. Hopefully, the team that showed up for the UNM game in Logan will show up. That's the level they'll need to beat TCU.

Being regular season champs of a league they got six teams in deserved a better Seed than an eight. But glad they are in and we just need to win

Looking at the seeding, it looks like a group of people brought out the liquor store then drank every drop then threw darts for seeding the teams.

you guys are funny, we got 6 teams in! 6 friggin teams! 24 years ago we were in a 1 bid conference.

I guess with a 38 NET and 48 KenPom we were over estimating our chances of a higher seed. But so many have the opinion that the BIG12 is overrated and we got the 8th seeded team in their tourney, so let's go get 'em.

I'm a glass half full guy. This 8 seed makes a loss in the first round much more palatable because it's against a team closer in seeding. It would really suck to lose as a 5 seed.
