Are they planning on redshirting him next year?

I don't know the answer, but I know Stew likes to red shirt RMs. I would guess it has a lot to do with the month he gets home off his mission. I watched him on his recruiting visit. He's a great shooter.

I think it all matters on how well Berger gets back in playing shape.

Coach Jones related a story about Berger on his mission.
He said Danny and his companion were walking in the Detroit
inner city area. A group of guys were playing b-ball at one of the local playgrounds.
The missionaries stopped to watch. The locals started telling them to go away and get lost.
Danny issued a challange that he and his companionwould play any two of them two on two.
if the missionaries won everyone would have to listen to them for 30 minutes. He said he got
the ball out of bounds and on the first play he dunked over the other two players. Said the
missionaries now have their street credential in downtown detroit.
