If UNM loses they will be pissed and excited to play us. I think our chances are better if UNM wins this game. But a triple overtime game wouldn't hurt.

For NET purposes, I'd think we benefit if UNM keeps winning (except against us) so that our loss against them is more respectful. Them rutting us at our house and then losing to Wyoming in their house doesn't make us look good.

WYO crumbled the last 90 seconds. Nelly got a very favorable call which could have been his 5th foul but they called a blocking foul.

What a frustrating game. Wyoming could not hit a FT. They played great defense and rebounded the ball well (except for NJJ putback late in game). They just have a hard time scoring at all. NM missed a bunch of layups. Why is it when we play teams we don't get these types of performances (missed FT, off night shooting).
Same thing happened at Wyoming - Pokes could not hit FT
Something to watch Dent went out late (came back in) and had extra brace on ankle.
We may dwindle leads late and make score look closer but NM has escaped vs Nevada, both Wyoming games, vs SJSU (first conference game)

I like our chances against the Lobos, I really do.
I feel like the monkey is off the back of a lot of these guys. I know a lot are going to disagree with me but that felt like an Aggie team playing to win last night, not to “not lose” which is what I’ve felt for awhile.
We know this team. FT shooting will not be good. 2nd half D will slow down and likely become ineffective late. If we make small improvements to both of those and don’t show up for a shift at the brick factory like last time, and actually shoot close to our median, i like us on Sunday.
We probably lose. A lot to overcome on the road but I think we can do it

The best thing that came out of this game is Donovan Dent injuring his ankle. I didn’t see how it happened, but he was taken out of the game late in the second half, and he looked like he was in a lot of pain on the side lines. Hopefully he’s feeling sore on Sunday! We also need to foul out Joseph to win this game on Sunday.

I hope so, NM was trying their best to have one of their signature Q4 home losses against a team they should blowout. WYO played well but NM did not look very focused at all. I expect NM to be a completely different team at home on Sunday then they were last night.
