Interim WAC Commish

I found this article mentioning the appointment of an interim commisioner. I looked at the WAC site and USU and didn't see any mention of it, maybe because it is only interim. Does anyone know anything about Jeff Hurd? According to the article Karl's last day was Thursday. http://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/co ... story.html

Hey "ProvoAggie" - has there been any talk of where the WAC basketball tourney will be next year? I assume a new Commish will need to be in place first?!

I'm hoping that it's still in Vegas. MetsJetsAggies mentioned that he had inside info about it moving to South Point here. A Vandal fan posted the same thing on the WAC Message Board a little while back as well. It looks like South Point seats 4,600 people. http://www.southpointeventscenter.com/arena.php

I stayed at South Pointe a couple years ago with the family and it was ok. I checked out the Arena, it reminded me of the Golden Spike Arena in Ogden. A nice equestrian facility but the floor is a little bigger than a hockey rink so I am not sure how good the site lines would be.
