I'm sure there are a few of us whose PTSD would kick into high gear seeing throwback unis.Zaggie07 wrote:Our history is so bad, the only uniform we could go back to without PTSD is something from Merlin's era. Maybe the Vegas Bowl or Humanitarian Bowl years ('93 and '97).

There's not really much to go back to, except for helmets, but I do really like it when they wear W-B-W because those are our classic colors. I feel like they don't do it near enough.

I really want a Pewter (or gray or silver) helmet. I think it would look sweet with the current bull logo or even the U-State logo with maybe a single navy stripe down center (front to back).
Not only was the '61 FB team the best ever at USU, their home uniforms were likewise. Scouting coaches (they did that a lot back then, before the digital age) use to start their reports by writing a paragraph on the Aggies' uniforms.

I could get behind these ones with pewter pants, blue jersey with pewter stripes and a pewter helmet with a single blue stripe like our helmets in the 60s.
