National championship

Post by BamaAggie » January 8th, 2017, 9:21 pm

I know there are a couple threads discussing the cfb playoffs but I wanted to highlight tomorrow nights game and get people's predictions. I don't think there is any debate these are the two best teams in the country and feel it's basically a pick 'em. I'm probably the only Alabama fan on this board but I admit it's hard not to like Dabo, Deshaun Watson and Clemson's team. So good luck to Rocky Mtn High and his tigers but I gotta go with Bama. 31-21. Roll Tide!!

I hope it's as good a game as last year. My heart says the Tigers D forces bama to throw and wins 30-21 with bama D scoring or setting up a very short field.

My gut says: it's Bama. Bama 28-13.

I can't handle another Alabama title. I've been praying incessantly to the football gods for a Clemson victory. Here is how it's gonna go down. Sarkisian will call a horrible first half due to drunkenness. At halftime he'll drink some coffee and sober up, but when the offense comes out to play the second half they won't be able to do a thing because kiffin will call up swinney and beg him to let him help Clemson, because Saban gave him one two many death glares. With Kifffin's help, Clemson's D destroys Bama's O and they win 42-0..

Hard to pick. Alabama has an amazing D, but Clemson has the best offensive player in the country, plus a D that just embarrassed Urban Meyer to the point where he had to fire a coordinator for the first time in his career.
I'll pick Alabama, but rooting for Clemson.

Clemson. They made believers out of me with the absolute dominance they displayed against Ohio State. That, and Alabama didn't manhandle the Huskies the way I thought they Should've.

I've got a friend out here that says last night she heard a woman screaming outside their house. She went to check on their kids while she sent her husband to see what was going on and to call the police if necessary. Mind you this was at like 11:00 last night, local time. Turns out it was just a Bama fan wailing because they just lost.

I live with crazy people out here. Prayers appreciated.

I'll echo that! What a game! I haven't been that entertained by a football game of any kind in a long time. It's hard to argue that the two best teams weren't represented. That was grown man football.

That was one heckuva ball game. The momentum and emotion swings in that fourth quarter were unbelievable. Very entertaining game.

Yup. Anyone who was neutral sure had a great game to watch with no emotions.

Exactly. This has a different feel than most Alabama losses recently (Ohio state, Oklahoma, ole miss x2). Bama nation is actually ok with this one, we realize how good Clemson is and has been. Also, knowing that the players won the game, not (poor) officiating or anything other than great players making plays.

Yes, but the first half was boring.

Did anyone else get frustrated with the constant babbling by the sideline guys and their roaming? It took part of my TV screen and when the stadium announcer was talking, it was sensory over load. I turned down the volume.

I always mute the tv when I watch sports. It will make your life so much better not listening to the to the asinine drivel the commentators spew. I can watch the game. I know what is going on most of the time.
