Remove Carter from Aggie HOF?

Post by AmericanAggie » May 7th, 2017, 10:46 am

I just read this - http://www.espn.com/espn/feature/story/ ... topped-him ... If the case wraps up the way it appears to be going and the crazy dude is convicted, should/could Hartwell, etc remove 2014 inductee Carter from the Aggie HOF? If I were in a position of authority, I'm pretty sure I'd remove him.

Absolutely, he has admitted enough to act now.

Craig Carter was one of my coaches in high school and I knew one of his kids and reading that story was crazy. I really liked the guy and to read that and see what happened to him is really shocking.

That was a rough read. He is defending himself for certain allegations but after admitting to relations with a girl that he coached and the whole threatening incident with the box cutter, I would say remove him from the Aggie HOF.

"What happened to him"?????

I have no idea how kicking someone out of the HOF works, but I'm in favor here. Something tells me it won't be happening.

If it doesn't happen, it'll just be because it's not worth the effort. They removed JoPa's statue, and I doubt that our student body will throw a fit to get Carter reinstated.

I doubt it, did you read what he has been accused of and what he has admitted?

What I meant by that is the guy I knew didn't seem like he was capable of doing something like this. That was 20 years ago though so clearly his life has gone down a different path. I probably should have said what he became.

Convicted

Carter must be removed from our Hall of Fame.

Nobody here knows anything.

Mrs. Aggies22, a couple of our younger 22's and myself were wandering around the Hall of Fame area in the NEZ prior to the spring game today and all mention of Craig Carter has been taken down. Case Closed with 0 fan fare, the guy has shamed himself enough.
