I'm late to the party. How did the match turn out?QuackAttackAggie wrote: ↑April 26th, 2018, 10:12 amOn now vs boise https://player.watchstadium.com/47/inde ... =liveevent

Last I saw, the men were handling Boise pretty easily. Looks like it's off now. Jaime Barajas beat another all-conference player 6-1 and 6-0. He completely wrecked him. He's quite the player.

I was watching and it was tied 2-2, then I left for a moment and when I came back it was off-air.

USU won 4-2 and was leading the other match that wasn't finished. Our singles play is very solid top to bottom. For some reason, our doubles struggles to win that point.

In conference tournaments, they always stop when one side gets 4 for the win. Sometimes even during the regular season, if there are multiple matches on the same courts that they need to get in, if the coaches agree beforehand, they will stop at one side getting 4. And when they agree to play all 7 out no matter what cause of being the only match on those courts, what they will do after one side has 4 for the win is on the last few matches, just play to 8 points on the third set instead of a complete set. Whereas when it's 3-3 going into the last match, then they have to play the full set.

I think he understood all of that already.
Aggies absolutely blew UNLV to pieces today. Championship match tomorrow.

Up 3 to 1 after losing doubles. Fresno hadn’t lost a match all tournament. We are dominating singles.

That was some exciting tennis. FSU had not lost a match in the tourney until meeting the Aggies. having lost the doubles point but came back with four singles wins in a row. Tremendous!

How does the NCAA tennis tournament work? Regionals first, then the championship? Any idea where we'll be sent?
Nobody here knows anything.

The top 16 teams in the country host the first two rounds, then the rest of the rounds are hosted by Wake Forest this year. Utah State will travel to Fort Worth, Texas, to face TCU in the first round. If they advance, they'll face the winner of Oregon/Dartmouth the next day. Starts a week from Friday, I believe.OKAggie wrote: ↑April 29th, 2018, 8:53 pmHow does the NCAA tennis tournament work? Regionals first, then the championship? Any idea where we'll be sent?
