Re: Gail Miller
I really really liked this too and I thought about posting. I know that the USU fans are intimidating to other teams and I know that they are far from being the bad guy, racist fans that so many other teams have complained about. I also think we could be better hosts. I like that Aggie fans have always been very creative and the student support has mostly been admirable. I would be really curious to see what a teams reaction would be to a fanbase like ours that was clearly loud and even intimidating, but very complimentary, gracious, and well known for being so.
Wouldn't it have been interesting for our fans to be accused of all this poor behavior and a copy of the bull sheet came out that was very complimentary to the Nevada coach, players, team etc? I don't see why it couldn't be this way...
The old refraction had a lot of made up stuff mostly just for comedy, but the information about players related to basketball for the most part. I don't remember a lot of real personal things about opponents being put in there.

Re: Gail Miller
So ... other than particular posters staying away from the subject, why are two threads simultaneously discussing race, which topic was banished to the s***ehole forum scant 10 days ago with posters put in time out?
Why do these topics remain, when they were too hot to touch after the Nevada win?

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

Re: Gail Miller
I think this just got brought up because of Gail's impassioned speech last night. The Nevada incident and the Westbrook incident both happening so close to each other is just bad luck.USU78 wrote: ↑March 15th, 2019, 1:49 pmSo ... other than particular posters staying away from the subject, why are two threads simultaneously discussing race, which topic was banished to the s***ehole forum scant 10 days ago with posters put in time out?

Re: Gail Miller
I’m just completely baffled by this. Nothing racist was even said. I keep trying but can’t figure out how race is even involved here.
Now, the guy was an (I can't express myself without swearing) and yelling vulgarities at a player is crossing the line and he should be kicked out.
But again, nothing racist.

Re: Gail Miller
I think they've deduced racial intent after someone took screen shots of the fans twitter page once his identity was revealed.2004AG wrote: ↑March 15th, 2019, 3:35 pmI’m just completely baffled by this. Nothing racist was even said. I keep trying but can’t figure out how race is even involved here.

I also wouldn’t be surprized if the Jazz know some things about what occurred that they don’t care to share.
