Pride & Insults -- Plates & Decals
Pulled up behind this comedian the other day and had to snap a picture. 8 STRAIGHT.
Hahaha this guy pays money every year for vanity plates to rub it in. I love this dude and think he's a tool all at the same time.
I have a U-State decal and an an alumni plate cover. I don't have the Aggie plate because I think the block A is stupid. If they rolled out a U-State plate I would pay the fee for it. Anyways, I'm curious if many on the board have car swag and if you or someone you saw on the highway recently had something funny like this ute?

Re: Pride & Insults -- Plates & Decals
What is stupid about the block A ? Still a valid symbol and goes back a long way...to Old Main. The oldest and most traditional Aggie Symbol.
I have Aggie plates on both my SUV's and proud of it. Come on give a little more to the scholarship fund.

Re: Pride & Insults -- Plates & Decals
I'm going to get the plates for all my new cars, and I love the 'A' too ... It's on most of my USU hats, shirts, gear, etc etc. It's the most relevant symbol of the University to me. I still occasionally get asked "what does the 'A' mean? Is that for Army?" ... but you just reply, "it's for the Aggie Blue and Fighting White!"

Re: Pride & Insults -- Plates & Decals
The best was a guy from Kamas that had the "A" plate with SS MAN for South Summit man. They revoked his license plates and made him change them.

I've seen people who have replaced the "A" decal on the plates with a "UState" decal.

Re: Pride & Insults -- Plates & Decals
It used to be that every school used their academic logos. I believe that every other school in the state has since switched to athletic logos as they are more recognizable and more marketable. Utah State tends to do things late. I too wish they'd switch to an athletic logo for those reasons and because the block A doesn't really mean much to me but I still have Aggie plates regardless.

Re: Pride & Insults -- Plates & Decals
I really like the block A, even if I'd rather it be the athletics logo. I'll get those for sure if I ever end up back in Utah. For now, license plate covers and stickers all over the back of my soccer mom minivan will have to do.
Will respond whenever you ask what the band is doing
Go Aggies!!!

Plate covers on truck and motorcycle. Window stickers in truck windows and hood of snowmobile. Plates if I make it back to Utah

I have a co-worker who put a bull decal in place of the A. It looks sharp. If I knew how to post pictures I'd put one up.I've seen people who have replaced the "A" decal on the plates with a "UState" decal.

Re: Pride & Insults -- Plates & Decals
I have the plates on both our cars. I got one of the pink U-State helmet stickers a few years ago for dontating to athletics and my wife put that on her car. Made me proud, considering she doesn't care about athletics.

Re: Pride & Insults -- Plates & Decals
Back in Alabama our plate for the van said "USU AGS". As soon as we got back to Utah I got this for the van:
They made a mistake on the plates they sent me for my little white hatchback (I forget what it was), but eventually I got it sorted out:
Edit: I should add that when I first got these I was really excited to show them off here. AKAggie said the second one looked like "Fat 'n White". I was about to protest, but then I was like "yeah, it fits".

Saw this in Salt Lake. Looks like the Utah Baseball club is trying to steal our logo. I’m pretty sure this infringes some type of trademark agreement.

I'm pretty sure this is like a 12 year old team... Lol, it would be funny to send them a cease and desist letter.aggies22 wrote:Sue their a$$e$!AggieUprising50 wrote: ↑April 26th, 2019, 9:55 am
