A different way to view optimism and pessimism this year

Post by GameFAQSAggie » March 25th, 2020, 10:46 am

Instead of past years where we get to see differences in optimism with some people thinking we will win more games than others think we will win, or differences in how likely or unlikely we are to win certain games, we instead get to see differences in optimism as to if there will be a season or not. And when sports of any sort will resume, as well as the hundreds of events will resume. If there will be Cache Valley Cruise-In? Fourth of July parades? County fairs?

This is probably the first time in history that it would be considered optimistic for any college football fan to say that their team will give up a lot of passing yards on opening day, cause if we do give up alot of passing yards to Washington State, it would at least mean we are having a season and have the NFL and various other activities going on. It isn't realistic to think that if the game and rest of season is going on as scheduled, we are going to hold them to that few passing yards.
