Fall Sports - Ivy League just cancelled, who's next?

Post by dhilk3785 » July 8th, 2020, 2:53 pm

The Ivy League just announced they're cancelling all fall sports for 2020 and won't consider playing anything until at least January 1, 2021.

It looks like the Big 10 may be on the verge of canceling OOC football games as well. Dominoes are starting to fall.

The Ivy was also the first to cancel their basketball conference tournament. Turning into other leagues, then the CBI and CIT, then NCAA.

I honestly don’t believe we will have football this fall. And I’m not saying I agree with it. I just don’t see it happening.

BTW who's next? If I had to guess, it would be the PAC12 (Arizona has the most cases per 1,000 than any other nation/state in the world, California is 17, Utah is 20).

Given Larry Scott's penchant for ineptitude, he will probably draft a memo that cancels the season and then forget to send it out until the day before opening weekend.

Ivy League getting Cancelled too. Cancel culture is out of control. I guess that is what happens when Harvard does not have a diverse enough student body.

"...who's next?"
Everyone. There will not be CFB this calendar year.

Silver lining? No asinine complaint threads here about attendance this fall.

Who am I kidding, of course there will be.

Arizona would help their public perception if they’d quit counting every positive Covid 3 times.
