Hot Rod Hundley Radio Calls
Kind of an out of the blue question, but does anyone have any idea where I could find old Hot Rod Hundley called Jazz radio games?
One of my favorite memories as a kid was lying on the living room floor in the dark listening to the Jazz play. Just want to listen to a few again.

Hippity hop left and a gentle push with a mild arc and the cowhide globe hits home! Hot Rod was awesome and I also have fond memories of listening to him. But I’m afraid I’m useless as to tracking down something like this. I wonder if you emailed the zone sports guys...maybe even Scotty G if he could assist.

The Golden Grif walks a belt high dribble across the timeline, yo-yo's left to big T. Big T with a corkscrew jumper. Got it.

Hot Rod was great. One of the very best ever behind the mic.

Re: Hot Rod Hundley Radio Calls
Remember when he decided to nickname Deron Williams "Slick?" Hot Rod started calling him that on the air, for a few games. Then one time in a post game interview he called him Slick and Williams looked at him and said "What did you call me"?
It was never used nor mentioned again.

Re: Hot Rod Hundley Radio Calls
I don't remember that, but that is pretty funny. I wonder how many times players have a problem with announcers who make up nicknames for them that they don't like.cval wrote: ↑April 11th, 2021, 12:53 pmRemember when he decided to nickname Deron Williams "Slick?"
