Depends on how bad he wants to fire Bryan Harsin.

He has thrown his hat in for a lot of others. I am sure he will kick the tires on this job.
Hope he stays here though.

For sure he will, he is a southern guy. Would like to see him stay for a few more years, he has been good for our program.

He would only last three years at Auburn. Their current AD is a good AD and didn’t last long. Auburn is literally a disaster of a program internally.
If Hartwell left I’d love to take a look at Auburns current AD as our next AD.

If necessary to find a new coach, I don't think Auburn fans are going to have the taste for a coach that went from Arkansas State to decent success at a MWC school- especially considering we don't have the brand that Boise has.

There is no chance that the big Auburn boosters agree to a hotshot MWC coach right after failing with a hotshot MWC coach. They'll probably go with some rising OC/DC already in the SEC or maybe someone splashy a la LSU and USC stealing away big time coaches from elsewhere.Imakeitrain wrote: ↑August 27th, 2022, 6:19 pmIf necessary to find a new coach, I don't think Auburn fans are going to have the taste for a coach that went from Arkansas State to decent success at a MWC school- especially considering we don't have the brand that Boise has.

That's the same reason why we would be safe from Nebraska if that opens up. They aren't going to want to go the G5 coach route again after having it not work out with one G5 coach.YoungBloodAggie wrote: ↑August 27th, 2022, 7:49 pmThere is no chance that the big Auburn boosters agree to a hotshot MWC coach right after failing with a hotshot MWC coach.
