Haha! Well I guess you of all people would know. Welcome back to Aggie Nation! Can you tell us what position he is playing and if he is on scholarship this year? You can PM me if need be.
I believe he is there to play RB, but I know Tré would be excited to play whatever they'll let him! As far as the scholarship situation goes he is not on scholarship this fall, however, I am hoping he will be by Spring. He will earn a scholarship or he won't, that is to be determined by his drive and character. Coach Wells has been fair and I agree with the situation Tré is in, considering he de-committed. We are grateful for the second chance. That is all I have to say about that!
Thank you all for welcoming me so kindly! GO AGGIES!!!

I love these highlights! Miller seems to be the kind of running back that Ron Swanson would approve of:

Wasn't it Mick Dennehy who once said that they passed on the Idaho or Idaho State running back out of high school because he was a "downhill runner?" I think that was after the Aggie defense was lit up that that guy.

Well, Miller seems to be spending a lot of time running straight downhill.

I remember that comment by Dennehy. It was the Bird kid that played at Idaho.

Had the pleasure of tackling him a few times. A most unpleasant experience.

It was about the time he made that comment that I began to think, "Mick Dennehy doesn't have a clue about how to win."

The attack punt innovation showed me he loved winning.

Wasn't the attack punt from Arslainian?

Arslanian for sure. Brent was the one who punted on the 30 yard line.

Try the 21 yard line. He called it a Red Zone punt.

I should have said "inside the 30". It probably was our best option.

It would be nice if we had a big back that could pound it. Hoping Tre has been standing out because we sure could use him.

Anyone hear how Morian Walker is recovering?

We are thin at RB so this would make sense. Desperation on Wells part? Or is he simply our best option at RB right now? I don't like wasting the RS to only get him for half of a season but if it leads to a win over WYO I am all for it. If we do burn the RS, he better get some significant playing time and 10+ touches. Don't waste the RS and only give him the ball a few times.

I agree with you. However, I bet we'll pull his redshirt and he will get at a maximum 5 carries in the game.

If he plays then he will then have be fully prepared to run block, carry the ball, pass block and execute pass reception plays....... OTHERWISE it will be wasting a year of eligibility for a few dozen snaps. If his red shirt is pulled then he has impressed the coaches he is proficient in the skills mentioned and he is our best back available.

Hervey enjoys an excellent yards per carry average but plays little, rumored to perhaps his pass or run blocking skills. If Tre Miller comes off his redshirt year then this young man will be our ongoing defacto starter. Or is this just another players rumor swirling around a pedestrian team looking for hope because talent and passion for the game have left the campus?

We couldn't have gotten that out of Justen Hervey, and saved Tre's redshirt?

I do not understand our head coach.
