Re: Koby to Marquette
Out of the options he had narrowed it down to, that seems to be the most high-profile option. Marquette did just lose out on five star prep star combo guard Quentin Grimes who went to Kansas. And though they just announced that Fordham starting point guard Joseph Chartouny would be transferring to Marquette, he is a graduate transfer with only a single year of eligibility remaining. So when Koby becomes eligible for the 2019-20 season, he may be in line to start for them.

Re: Koby to Marquette
Is that where Thurl Bailey's kids is going, too? I think he is back from his mission now

That is where Brendan Bailey is going. Although he won't be home from his mission until the summer.

Re: Koby to Marquette
Very happy for Koby. Even more happy for one of my other alma maters. Go Marquette.
That said Marquette is pretty meh according to a couple very knowledgeable sources on this board so I will keep my excitement in check.

Re: Koby to Marquette
The article indicates Chartouny will start next year, while Koby sits a year due to transferring. Then Koby will likely start at PG for 2 years. From your statement, I can’t tell if you disagree that Koby will likely start after sitting or if you just read the headline and assumed they are saying Chartouny will start for 3 years over Koby (even though Chartouny only has 1 year left).

Koby is gone and I could care less if he starts or comes off the bench.Pacobag wrote: ↑April 30th, 2018, 7:32 pmThe article indicates Chartouny will start next year, while Koby sits a year due to transferring. Haha. I do find it funny how many Aggie fans are acting like they will still be fans of his going forward. Not saying the ones you quoted are like that. He left USU. If he wanted me or any other Aggie fan to cheer for him or care about his success on the basketball court, he would have stayed at USU. I wish him well as a person, but on the basketball court I really don't care how he does after leaving USU.thansen wrote: ↑April 30th, 2018, 9:05 pmKoby is gone and I could care less if he starts or comes off the bench.Pacobag wrote: ↑April 30th, 2018, 7:32 pmThe article indicates Chartouny will start next year, while Koby sits a year due to transferring. I’m in this same boat. He is not one my team now. I don’t care what he does now.
