Re: Aggieup
Been really happy with the qb recruiting the last 4 years. Seems like we have been pretty successful in getting a guy to commit and then hold on through signing day. Colombi had a lot of interest and peasley had boise chasing him there at the end.
Calvin does remind me some of Love. Looks like a great commit.

Re: Aggieup
The depth of our QBs has never been better. I would expect one of Colombi, Peasley, and Calvin to transfer simply because the playing time will never be there, which is a testament to how much better our program has gotten. I can remember a not too distant past where we thought we would be facing a QB competition between Alex Love and Jeremy Higgins.

Re: Aggieup
I agree. I'm bullish on Jordan Love. I think he has the tools to be a very good QB. He also seems to have the work ethic and mental makeup necessary. I think he improves this year and continues to improve year over year into a very nice QB for us. That doesn't leave much PT for the others.YoungBloodAggie wrote: ↑June 19th, 2018, 8:33 amThe depth of our QBs has never been better. Re: Aggieup
He moves well in and out of the pocket. I like the amount of time he spent throwing on the run. I accuracy throwing on the run is often something that can't be taught. He is mobile enough for what we do. Also, the fake bubble screen at the 2:26 mark needs to find its way into our playbook.donlarson8 wrote: ↑June 18th, 2018, 5:27 pmhttp://www.hudl.com/profile/5554938/Joshua-Calvin

Re: Aggieup
I miss the fake bubble screen:fake screen run so much. We destroyed a lot of defenses when we had enough speed with JoJo and KW to do it. It’s now a distant memory....aggies22 wrote: ↑June 19th, 2018, 9:49 amHe moves well in and out of the pocket. I like the amount of time he spent throwing on the run. Re: Aggieup
When I saw Corona I was excited. But apparently he didn't play in Corona. Corona Centennial produces some flat out ball players.
Corona Santiago has done us well in the past.

Re: Aggieup
As usual, aggies22 is da man. Did MW stop using area codes because the compliance department got on his case?

Re: Aggieup
I think that the time of year according to the official NCAA recruiting calendar actually dictates when coaches are able to use area codes and when they are not.

Re: Aggieup
Am I missing something? Why are people so high on Ula Tolutau? Aside from his 100 yard performance against Utah State last year, his stats were not that impressive...

Re: Aggieup
As a freshman last year, he was a big strong runner. He has a lot of room to grow and could be very successful in the future. Its more of a hope for the future than a love for today.Naked Bull Rider wrote: ↑June 25th, 2018, 5:08 pmAm I missing something? Why are people so high on Ula Tolutau? Re: Aggieup
There are obviously exceptions, but a good, general rule of thumb is when players are wanted by Wisconsin and BYU, they are players we want at Utah State.Naked Bull Rider wrote:Am I missing something? He’s the big power back we’re missing. He’d turn into a 1000 rusher with us.

So is lovato a walk on or scholarship guy? Can't find where we offered him one?
Motes was offered on his visit/camp earlier this month.

Re: Aggieup
Lovato is a preferred walk-on. I'll have an article about him posted in the morning. I'm also working on an article about Motes.

Re: Aggieup
I saw another AggieUp from about 6 pm last night. Is this another commit or a repeat for Lovato/Motes?
