Can we get the Hawaii game on local TV?
So it looks like the hawaii game isn't available on the mainland, even as pay per view. The best I can find is that it can be watched for free on the stadium app, but on phones or tablets only...https://themw.com/sports/2018/9/5/where ... ctrum.aspx
I remember a few years back kmyu or kjzz (can't remember which) picked up a USU game at CSU on short notice. I wonder if there would be any possibility of convincing one of the local stations to reach out to the hawaii pay per view folks (Looks like it is spectrum networks) about getting their broadcast on locally in Utah. It wouldn't overlap any area where the game is already available for pay and would surely draw more eyeballs than whatever the locals have planned for 10 PM Saturday night.
If you are willing to help try and make this happen, here is the contact information...
KJZZ: https://kjzz.com/station/contact (email address and phone #s)
KMYU: http://kmyu.tv/station/contact (email address and phone #s)
KUTV: https://kutv.com/contact/contact-us
Looks like they are basically the same entity along with kutv, but I would encourage you to hit both with emails and with call. In addition, here are the witter handles for each station...@KJZZ14, @KUTVNews.
Also, facebook pages exist for the stations as well...

Maybe we can make this happen, maybe not, but if you have some time it might be worth letting them know it would be appreciated.

Just be like me, make sure your BIL is stationed on the island and use AK Air miles to get there for $12.

Yeah Hawaii games are terrible. It is good they don't have more fans or it would be a major problem. Many sports bars in Honolulu didn't even carry many of their football games.

Re: Can we get the Hawaii game on local TV?
Its pretty straight forward. After opening the stadium app, look at the bottom right corner of the screen, there is a small box that looks like a tv screen. Click on that and it should say iPad or iPhone (depending on which you are using) and Apple TV. Click the Apple TV and it should connect to your Apple TV and the video should start playing on your Apple TV.bullshot wrote:What are the steps for watching on Apple TV. Apple TV has the Stadium app that you can download, so no need to Airplay from your mobile to the tv. Not sure about Roku or Chromecast.

The website says the game is available only on iPhone and iPad, so I think that's why it was discussed.AGGZILLA wrote:Apple TV has the Stadium app that you can download, so no need to Airplay from your mobile to the tv. Not sure about Roku or Chromecast.

The app is available on Apple TV and Roku but Hawaii games aren't. They limit them to just mobile devices.

So does this mean that it will or won't make a magical appearance in the chat room? If someone has to PM me to tell me the answer please do.

I'm not able to see the image you left in response to my post Provo. Is it something cryptic?

It was just an emoji of fingers crossed. Re: Can we get the Hawaii game on local TV?
Considering the severe limitations Hawaii puts on these games (mobile only) I doubt we see a CFBstreams link.
I still have no idea why the MWC lets them get away with this crap. It kills viewership and weakens the promotion of the conference. Week in and week out the MWC is the only conference in the country that has games that cannot be viewed either at all (usually SJSU, but even San Diego State didn't make their FCS game available this year), or with severe limitations (Hawaii).
It is embarrassing.

Re: Can we get the Hawaii game on local TV?
when you guys say "Stadium app", does that mean i have to actually download the app, or will it be accessible through FB like yesterday's game on Stadium?

I emailed the newsdesk at KUTV/KJZZ. Hopefully they can pick it up.

I also recommend reaching out to AT&T Sports Net to see if they can pick it up. You can do that here:
