Current Injuries?
Does anyone have updated info on a current list of injuries?
Big one I've been worried about here is Alfred Edwards (I don't think I saw him play at all in the UNLV game).
Anybody know what's up with him?

Re: Current Injuries?
I haven’t seen Magalei since he got injured against Tennessee Tech. Also didn’t see Te’i last game. I believe both have now played 3 games. Wonder if they’re going to try to redshirt one or both.

Re: Current Injuries?
Daxy is still out right? I think we'll be fine, honestly, but we will want him against Boise, hopefully a game or two before. I wonder how his hand will recover as far as catching is concerned?

Re: Current Injuries?
Nope, he didn’t play, and also isn’t listed on the participation report (can’t always rely on that, but in this case it’s right)

He was dressed for the game, I noticed him on sideline at one point.

Re: Current Injuries?
Bump
Since there is a new post on Ingram, I thought I'd move this back up.
Anyone know the current status of all our injured players?
I have to say, we've been pretty lucky so far on the injury front. A lot better than previous years.

Re: Current Injuries?
Dax - broken hand
Ingrim - Toe
I would love to know:
Edwards didn’t play yesterday.
Is Suli limited or is Chase C just out playing him.
Cam Haney - didn’t play yesterday that I saw.

Re: Current Injuries?
Did see Suli and Metzheimer in second half. It looks like they are backing up Chase C and Woodward. They were in on the long TD run. Ferguson has him in the backfield but couldn’t bring him down.

Re: Current Injuries?
Magalei is redshirting and Te’i is listed as having played yesterday, but I didn’t see it. He should be back soon

Re: Current Injuries?
With a bad turf toe, Ingram is probably out for the season. Dax should be back for at least the Boise game, the championship game, and the bowl game.
Compared to the last several seasons, this is a shockingly low number of serious season or career ending injuries. Knock on wood.
Also, I just went through the roster. I'm amazed at how many players in key positions are NOT seniors. And with the soft schedule, the 2s and 3s are getting lots of valuable game time. Is this really Aggie football?!?!?!

Great post. Just did the same thing you mentioned in last paragraph. A lot of keys guys not graduating.LKGates wrote: ↑October 21st, 2018, 10:09 pmWith a bad turf toe, Ingram is probably out for the season. Dax should be back for at least the Boise game, the championship game, and the bowl game.

Re: Current Injuries?
At the week 7 coaches show, Coach Wells stated that Dax would be out for two weeks. IF that holds true he may be back for New Mexico, right? Would be GREAT to have him as an option when the pressure comes. Watching that create a grimace on Davies face would just warm my heart!!!Elkaggie wrote: ↑October 21st, 2018, 10:22 pmGreat post. Re: Current Injuries?
I come away with the exact opposite impression, LKGates. I see 11-13 of the 22 starters being seniors, including 4/5 offensive lineman and both starting WR's. Who is going to catch the ball next season? I hope we're hitting the JC ranks and grad transfer markets hard for some WR's.Elkaggie wrote: ↑October 21st, 2018, 10:22 pmGreat post. Re: Current Injuries?
It looks like Justus Te'i has played in 3 games this year and has not played the last two. It seems there's a good chance he was banged up again and the coaches decided to try to potentially redshirt him. He is needed this year, but redshirting him could also be very beneficial. He could still in play in one more game. I'd love to have him as only a JR next year.

I'm expecting us to grab possibly both a JC and grad transfer WR.swishh_15 wrote: ↑October 22nd, 2018, 5:41 amI come away with the exact opposite impression, LKGates.
